5th Stakeholder's Orientation Workshop (SOW) & 4th State Leaders
and Mentors Meeting (SLM) |
|
The participants of Stakeholders Orientation Workshops (SOW) are
the applicants of S-ILF Livelihood Project Proposals which have been
approved for funding. SOWs are held prior to disbursements of funds.
Following the approvals of 19 proposals in the last Project Selection
Committee Meeting earlier in August, S-ILF is holding the next round of
SOW and SLM.
State Leaders and Mentors are important stakeholders in the process of
smooth execution of S-ILF’s livelihood projects. Since they are in
charge of steering the livelihood projects towards success, it is
important to orient them too in a systematic way. Keeping that in mind,
the State Leaders and Mentors Meeting (SLM) is designed to bring
together and orient all these stakeholders.
For the first time, S-ILF has decided to break up the beneficiaries of
the newly approved 19 Projects into two groups for the purpose of
conducting the fifth SOW and the fourth SLM at two locations, benefiting
a much larger number of participants who are spread over areas in 6
different states. It will also ensure that the workshops can be
conducted in local languages for more effective outreach and
participation.
For the first group, the 5th SOW and the 4th SLM will be held
from 21st to 23rd September, 2011 in Hyderabad. The participants of
the 5th SOW are the project beneficiaries from Tamil Nadu, Andhra
Pradesh and Maharashtra selected in the 7th Project Selection Committee
Meeting (PSCM).
For the second group, the 5th SOW and the 4th SLM will be held
from 27th to 29th September, 2011 at Bhabua, Bihar for the benefit
of beneficiaries from Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
